Our Purpose
To focus on the health and resilience of ecosystems through research service learning (Reynolds & Ahern-Dodson, 2010) that integrates local ecosystem monitoring (through Adopt-A-Stream and other citizen science projects) to increase students’ understanding of causal relationships and the impact of local watersheds on larger water bodies.
